THEATERLE is made by a husband and wife who love going to the theatre, and talking about the characters long after the curtain comes down.
Our little stage-door project
We built THEATERLE as a fun daily ritual for fellow theatre goers. It combines our love of Broadway with the satisfying challenge of narrowing down one mystery character at a time. THEATERLE is an independent project operated by KGS Ventures LLC; it is not affiliated with any Broadway production, theatre, or licensing company.
How the guides and quizzes are made
The character guides, show guides, and trivia packs on this site are written and maintained by us. Details like premiere years, composers, and character facts are checked against publicly available production records and official show materials, and we review pages again whenever a reader flags something that looks off. We are theatre fans rather than professional historians, so if we get a detail wrong we would genuinely like to know.
Corrections
Spotted a wrong year, a mislabeled role, or a trivia answer that does not hold up? Email us through the contact page with the page and the issue. We read every message, verify the claim against production sources, and update the page when a correction checks out.
