Who is Jenna Rolan?
Jenna Rolan makes it her business to know, and share, everything happening among her classmates, positioning herself as the school's unofficial source of news and rumor. Her craving to be the first to know anything is treated with humor, but the show also uses her to explore the same anxiety about belonging that drives Jeremy toward the Squip.
Jenna's own eventual choices around the Squip mirror and comment on Jeremy's, showing that the desire to be seen and included runs through nearly the entire student body, not just its central characters.
Jenna's role in Be More Chill
Jenna is a supporting role in Be More Chill, part of the show's tight ensemble of classmates surrounding Jeremy and Michael. The role suits a performer with sharp comic delivery and strong ensemble vocals, since Jenna often anchors group numbers.
Audiences remember Jenna for voicing the show's running joke about gossip and social status, while also quietly reinforcing its larger point about how badly teenagers want to belong.
