Who is Lumiere?

Lumiere is a member of the Beast's household staff, transformed into a living candelabra by the same curse that changed his master into a monster. Suave and quick with a joke, he serves as something of a ringleader among the enchanted objects, encouraging hope that the curse can still be broken and doing his best to bring Belle and the Beast together. His warmth and humor provide much-needed levity in a story that otherwise carries a lot of tension and heartbreak.
